How does FoLix work?
FoLix is a non-ablative fractional laser. It delivers very small, precise pulses of laser energy to the scalp, which activates the body’s natural healing response and stimulates hair follicles. It is the first fractional laser cleared by the FDA for hair loss treatment.
Does the treatment hurt?
Most patients report minimal discomfort and describe the sensation as a warm prickling feeling. No anesthesia or numbing is required, and the device uses constant cooling for comfort.
Is there downtime?
No. You can return to your normal activities immediately after each session.
How many treatments do I need?
A typical treatment course is 4 to 6 sessions, spaced about four weeks apart. Periodic maintenance sessions may be recommended to sustain results. Your provider will confirm a plan for you after your hair analysis.
How long does each treatment take?
Each session takes approximately 30 minutes.
